Why ESG matters to DCM

At DCM, we’re continually striving to be better corporate citizens. Not simply because it’s the right thing to do, but because we want to create the kind of world—and workplace—that encourages everyone to protect the environment, help each other out, and act with integrity.

What’s important to us

A greener planet

We’re replacing our paper consumption by replanting an equivalent number of trees—over 1.5M so far—in carefully managed locations.

More sustainable operations

We’re supporting the global community in achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050, and by reducing our scope 1 and scope 2 carbon emissions by 2030 based on 2022 data.

Less greenhouse gas

We lowered our GHG emissions by 860 metric tons between 2020 and 2022.

Less solid waste

Our goal is to realize an absolute reduction in solid waste and increase diversion from landfill via a solid waste audit and action plan.

Stronger communities

We’re the strategic partner and digital agency of record for Habitat for Humanity Canada, providing pro bono support that helps them amplify their brand.

A more diverse workplace

Through our partnership with Global Learning Inc. and our dedicated DEI committee, we ensure all our associates feel empowered, supported, and included.

SGP is a leading not-for-profit in the print industry that promotes sustainability through standardized criteria, auditing, reporting, and web-based progress tracking.


DCM has been Forest Stewardship Council-certified since 2007, providing customers with the assurance that our facilities support sustainable forestry practices, all rigorously verified through objective third-party auditing.


The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global partnership of organizations that drive ambitious climate action by enabling private-sector firms to set science-based emission reduction targets.
