In the not-for-profit space, accurate and timely transmission of income tax receipts is crucial. An incorrect or mis-sent receipt can result in a disgruntled, or even lost, donor. So, when it came time for a prominent children’s rights charity to send out tax receipts to its donors, the organization looked to DCM for a better solution than emailing them as PDFs. With over 145,000 receipts to dispatch, generating PDFs was not only an inefficient process, it was also proving to be ineffective: many donors weren’t getting their receipts because emails with PDF attachments were more likely to end up in junk mailboxes. Adding to the challenge, a popular ISP had previously blocked all emails deployed by the organization.
